The virtual Mission Reveal event will take place via Zoom on Thurs. March 16th, 3:30-4:30pm and feature an interactive game to learn about all the participating nonprofits and reveal your project match for the Corporate Challenge. You will need to register your full team for the event. You may register as many employees as your sponsorship allows (refer to Sponsorship-at-a-Glance drop-down). Once teams complete the game, they will learn their project match and have 5-10 minutes to meet with the nonprofit project host in a breakout room to learn about their project.
Directly following Mission Reveal, you will receive a link to share with your team with the project information and employee registration which will be capped at your allowed volunteer amount (refer to Sponsorship-at-a-Glance drop-down). If you have your own registration through your company, please email melissa@earthsharenc.org to ensure it includes all necessary information and questions.
Teams will meet 1-4pm on April 13th across the Triangle to complete volunteer projects and compete for the coveted, locally-made, blown glass globe awards—and bragging rights!
Awards:
- The Spirit Award – Given to the team that shows the most spirit and excitement about participating.
- Teamwork Award – Given to the team that works best as a unit on the work site.
- Best Overall – Given to the team with the most impressive overall impact.
- The Storytelling Award – At the Celebration, teams have 90 seconds to share their experience through any form of creative expression they’d like!
- Best Picture/Best Video – Teams will submit their best picture and 15 second video from the event for these prizes.
Judging – Each location will have a panel of 7-8 local, well-known sustainability leaders as judges. A judge will join your team onsite for a portion of the project to engage with and observe your team to help determine awards. At the end of the project, your team will be evaluated by the project host and results will be shared with the judges.
Image Sharing – On your Team Registration, you submitted an individual who will be responsible for collecting and submitting the best photo and video via the submission form. We will email this contact before the Challenge Day to submit photos through the form or via email. Please label your submission by company name.
