Trail Maintenance, Cleanup, Landscaping

  • What will I be doing?

At Falls Lake State Recreation Area, we will need volunteers to help us clean up trails, place benches and campfire stones in a new location, and plant trees/shrubs while putting mulch down.

  • Where do I go?

14601 Creedmoor Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587

  • Where can I park?

Parking available.

  • What should I bring/wear?

Hat, water, sunscreen, bug spray, closed toe shoes.

  • What will be provided by the host?

Gloves, clippers, and tools.

  • Any special Considerations?

Heavy equipment and transfer of materials will be done by park staff.

  • What if it rains?

Projects will continue in light rain. In case of heavy rain or unsafe weather, the rain date is Friday, May 1st, same times.
