Raptor Enclosure Maintenance with Piedmont Wildlife Center
Friday, April 10th
9am – 11:30am

Lunch Celebration:
12pm – 1:30pm

By Friday, April 3rd, please register with your company and indicate whether you will attend the Lunch Celebration, and complete the Piedmont Wildlife waiver. By registering to volunteer, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the EarthShare NC Event Terms.


  • What will I be doing?

EENC will be partnering with Piedmont Wildlife Center, one of our Organizational Members, for this volunteer opportunity. Volunteer duties at Piedmont Wildlife Center could include but are not limited to: enclosure cleaning, enclosure maintenance (use of power tools possible), general enclosure upkeep. All volunteer activities will be taking place outside. Some parts of the volunteering will be inaccessible to wheelchairs, walking aids and those with additional mobility concerns.

  • Where do I go?

364 Leigh Farm Road, Durham, NC, 27707

  • Where can I park?

Parking is limited. Volunteers are encouraged to carpool.

  • What should I bring/wear?

Please bring water bottles and dress for the weather (rain jacket, closed-toed shoes, seasonally appropriate attire).

  • Any special considerations?

No.

  • What if it rains?

Projects will continue in light rain. In case of heavy rain or unsafe weather, the rain date is Friday, May 1st, same times.
