Earth Day Events – Project Submission Learn more about Earth Day Events Welcome! We’re excited you’re interested in hosting a project for Earth Day! This program connects your organization with a local business to celebrate Earth Day and hopefully foster an ongoing partnership. EarthShare NC handles all logistics, and non-member organizations hosting projects receive a $100 stipend to cover project costs (in the form of cash or a Lowe’s gift card). Please answer the questions below to describe your project so we can match you with the best team. You can email any questions or additional details to melissa@earthsharenc.org. Note: We aim to match all projects but cannot guarantee inclusion due to factors like location, restrictions, and team availability. We’ll confirm your participation closer to March.Project Hosts Are Committed to the Following:1) Prepare a 1-minute video to introduce your organization to new audiences and future volunteers. 2) Join the 30-minute virtual Mission Reveal call to meet your volunteers, set expectations, and maximize your time together for a truly successful day. 3) Host a 2.5-hour volunteer project for your matched team and submit an evaluation form directly following the project to help with judging and awards. BONUS: Stick around for a free lunch after the project to network with other teams and nonprofits and celebrate the impact you’ve made! (Encouraged but not required.)
