September 25th – October 1st
NC Climate Week was inspired by the urgency for people to take action on climate change today. Throughout the week you and others across the state will build your knowledge of climate science, how climate change is experienced in North Carolina, and get practical answers for how you can take part in solutions.
Let’s Get Started! Using the three windows Learn, Measure, Act you will gain access to knowledge, stories, tools to reduce your personal carbon footprint, and learn where your help is needed.
- Start at the Measure window download the EarthShare Engage app where you will measure and reduce your carbon footprint.
- Commit to spending at least 15 minutes each day in the Learn window. Set an alarm on your phone, or an item on your calendar if you need a reminder.
- Before the week is done, explore the Act window to identify how you can be part of promoting climate solutions.
- At the close of the program we will send a survey to hear your experience and report the carbon reduction achieved the following week.
