“I have lived in the area for six years now and learned more in these courses than I have in the years I’ve lived here.”

The Training Center provides courses to build employee knowledge of environmental topics as well as curated content for use by Employee Resource Groups. Each course includes roughly ten stories, webinars, and videos that together provide a core competency of the topic and foundation for shared understanding.
Benefits
Details
The course content focuses on stories, research, and solutions presented by organizations working across the state and globe on these topics for decades. They are the experts in the field.
Companies sign up for the length of time to have access to the course, and the site is open to all employees during this time. Companies may use the course as is, or work with EarthShare NC to customize the branding, content, and to meet other goals.
Employees complete seven of the content pieces available in the course. They complete a survey at the start and conclusion of the course to measure the change in understanding. With the completion of the survey, employees earn a Virtual Badge recognizing course completion and receive documentation of training and development hours.
