Creek Cleanup with Catawba Lands Conservancy!
April 6th, 1-4 pm
Catawba Lands Conservancy (CLC) is a land trust – a nonprofit, community-based conservation organization that permanently conserves and manages land for public benefit in the Southern Piedmont of North Carolina. Participants will remove litter and debris from Little Sugar Creek and the Greenway near Park Road Shopping Center in Charlotte.
Little Sugar Creek Greenway near Park Road Shopping Center (500 Brandywine Rd, Charlotte NC 28209)
Easiest parking is near the Michaels (4337 Park Rd, Charlotte NC 28209)
Participants should wear long pants, sneakers, and sneakers or boots.
Volunteers will be provided gloves, trash grabbers, waders, trash bags, snack and beverages.
Participants may get dirty/wet and encounter wildlife.
This is a rain or shine event. If the weather conditions prohibit a specific project from taking place, we will work with you and the project host to coordinate an alternate date.
