Farm Work on Organic Teaching Farm with Good Hope Farm!
April 13th, 1-4 pm
Cary owns a 30 acre organic teaching farm that connects beginning farmers to affordable farmland and the community to local food while protecting and preserving the environment. Volunteers are needed to help plant, weed, and add amendments to the farm plots. Additional farm-related task may also be included.

Parking is available on site, but carpooling is highly recommended.
Participants should bring a hat, water bottles, and any snacks.
Gloves, tools, and all other related supplies will be provided.
Nope! Just bring big smiles and get ready to do some good.
This is a rain or shine event. If the weather conditions prohibit a specific project from taking place, we will work with you and the project host to coordinate an alternate date.

The goal of Good Hope Farm is to honor Cary’s agricultural heritage while increasing the community’s access to farmland and connecting its residents to local, healthy food. They license plots up to two acres to new and expanding farmers, with all necessary equipment and infrastructure available on site. The farm features a demonstration garden and offers agricultural and nutritional educational programming.
