Farm Maintenance & Planting with Carolina Farm Trust!
April 22nd, 9am-12pm
Carolina Farm Trust works alongside partners, farmers and growers, farms, markets, and consumers as we strive to make our region a global leader in local food production and consumption. Volunteers will support their mission by helping with onsite maintenance, such as fence painting, making seed bombs with butterfly-friendly flowers, and planting new trees and flowers on the farm.

There is plenty of onsite parking. There will be staff to guide parking on the day of the event!
Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are weather appropriate. They should also bring a water bottle and gloves.
Volunteers will be provided all necessary tools and water. The host will also have some gloves on-site, but bringing your own would be helpful!
We will welcome minors with adult consent since the event is on a Saturday and Earth Day!
This is a rain or shine event. If the weather conditions prohibit a specific project from taking place, we will work with you and the project host to coordinate an alternate date.

CFT has ongoing volunteers projects year round including corporate volunteers days and special events volunteers Contributions could also be donations, and engaging in the CFT social media. The purchase of a Night at the Museum ticket and/or a Carolina Jubilee (a music festival fundraiser with farm to table dinner) can also help support this amazing organization.
