2024 Corporate Earth Day Events - Project Submission

We’re thrilled you’re interested in hosting a project for the 10th Annual Corporate Earth Day Events Program! Through this program, we aim to bring more capacity to your team by matching you with a local company in honor of Earth Day, and hope that the relationship continues to grow! Please answer the questions below to describe your Earth Day project(s) so we can get you paired up with the best matched team. You can email any questions to melissa@earthsharenc.org. PLEASE NOTE: we do our best to match all submitted projects, but we can not guarantee all submitted projects will be included in the program due to limiting factors such as location, hosting restrictions, number of teams available, etc.

Project Hosts Are Committed to the Following:
**A** Attend the virtual Mission Reveal call to introduce your organization and project. You will be asked to join a break out room with your assigned group for the last 10 minutes of the call to further introduce the project and answer any questions. DATES – Triangle: March 7, 3:30-4:30pm or Charlotte: March 14, 3:30-4:30pm. **B** Host the volunteer project on Thurs. April 11th, 12:30-3:00pm including the first 30 minutes for the teams to arrive and get an introduction to your work and site, and a 2 hour volunteer project. A before and after photo will be required, as well as a post-project evaluation form to help with judging and awards. **C** NEW: You will be asked to provide a space for the team to have some time to relax after the project together, enjoy their work, and a Party-In-A Box provided by EarthShare NC. This space might be where they volunteered or at your facility nearby. If you do not have a suitable space, our staff will work with you to find a space for your team. The after party will run through 4pm, but the team is able to leave at any time after 3pm.

- 1 – sorting supplies, garden weeding/planting
- 2 – invasive species removal, trail maintenance, mulching
- 3 – removing heavy debris and/or transporting heavy materials
- 4 – digging trenches, building walls/fences

This year, we are having groups stay on-site for the after party to allow for more team bonding and networking with the project host. EarthShare NC will provide a “Party-in-a-Box” to each team, including light food and drinks. Shade, water and seating will need to be provided by the project host.
