  Donating to Earth Share of North Carolina (ESNC) is easy with our new online giving option through our partnership with Groundspring.org. You can give a one-time or recurring gift to ESNC that supports our mission and programs. ESNC engages citizens in supporting local, statewide, national and international environmental organizations through workplace giving fundraising, public outreach activities, and educational work.

Earth Share of North Carolina (ESNC) provides vital resources to environmental non-profits working to keep our state's rivers clean and our communities healthy and to foster ecotourism for a strong North Carolina economy. Workplace Giving and the Environment
Our primary mission is to raise money for our organizations through workplace giving campaigns conducted in public and private sector businesses throughout North Carolina.

A workplace giving campaign is a simple, easy way to support the environment. Individuals can designate their gift to Earth Share of North Carolina or to one or more of our organizations. The individual's contribution is then deducted throughout the year from their paycheck, and Earth Share distributes it to the appropriate organization.

Just as United Way supports social service non-profits and the United Arts Council supports arts organizations, Earth Share of North Carolina empowers environmental non-profits to protect our health and quality of life.

Why Donate Through Workplace Giving?
Donations through workplace giving enable Earth Share of North Carolina organizations to spend less time fundraising and more time working for a healthier environment. Gifts to Earth Share of North Carolina are divided among our member groups, with a majority of funds staying in North Carolina.

• Workplace giving is efficient
  Raising funds through payroll deduction in workplace giving campaigns is many times cheaper than direct mail (the most common way that environmental groups gain new members). With lower fundraising costs, more money can go directly to programs and services.
  
• Workplace giving is convenient
  Once each year donors decide which issues are most important to them. They choose an organization(s) to support and donate to them directly from their paycheck.
  
• Workplace giving is consistent
  Funds raised through payroll deduction help our groups plan for the future. After companies complete their workplace giving campaigns, they send ESNC the results. ESNC then lets its organizations know the amount of donations they will receive, allowing them to budget with confidence.
  
• Workplace giving is accountable
  Earth Share groups are carefully screened each year and are held to strict accountability standards. Our donors get peace of mind because they know their money is being well managed.
