EarthShare NC invites you to join us in celebrating Earth Day 2017 with a program that integrates corporate interest in the health of the community, team-building for employees, and service to benefit the nonprofits that care or our natural resources every day. The connections and impacts you make create a ripple effect—we make our community stronger and healthier and keep Charlotte a thriving place to live and work.
You’re invited to join us in creating an even bigger ripple effect by being part of Corporate Earth Day Events Program 2017. By participating as an Earth Day Event Sponsor, your company will make a tangible impact in the Charlotte area; your employees will have fun and build stronger team relationships through the three events described below. You’ll connect with other business leaders who value corporate social responsibility and get to know local conservation leaders. Learn more here.
The Charlotte Corporate Earth Day Events Program is comprised of two parts:
April 6, 2017, 1:00-4:00 pm
We will match your employee team with a hands-on volunteer project in the Charlotte area and coordinate logistics to provide a fun, valuable team-building opportunity. The Corporate Challenge is a win-win-win: employees have a blast working together outside the office, EarthShare NC nonprofits accomplish projects with your help and we all benefit from keeping this this a great place to live and work. The Challenge is also a friendly competition between companies, with awards for Spirit, Participation, Teamwork, and Overall Corporate Challenge winner.
Corporate Challenge teams, employees from participating businesses, and nonprofit leaders gather for the Earth Day Celebration. This is an opportunity to connect with colleagues and other businesses for an afternoon of music, refreshments, awards and your stories from the day.
In April 2016, more than 125 employees from 7 Charlotte companies came together to celebrate Earth Day in a way that made a big impact on the community. See the fun they had!
